Eddy Arnold is the most prolific vocalist in the history of country music. There will never be another like him! He is multi-dimensional unlike the so-called greats of today. He deserves national awards for his contribution to music and our culture.
Help me to see Eddy Arnold honored next year with two awards that he should win. I believe he needs to receive The Presidential Medal Of Freedom. Sinatra won one for his outstanding career, why not Eddy? His lifetime achievements are nothing short of phenomenal!

Also I think it is time Eddy Arnold is honored by the Kennedy Center. This is a celebration of the arts in America. Past winners include Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Lucille Ball, Gregory Peck, etc. Last Night it was on TV. They honored Sean Connery, Stevie Wonder, and three others. Certainly Eddy Arnold is in a higher class than either of the two that were honored this year.

I've worked on this for 14 years and I feel with your help and others like you who love Eddy we can see it happen. They have overlooked Eddy too long. Just last week he made history again, six decades in a row of hitting the charts.

The following was received:
NO!! I recieved another reply from the Kennedy
Center that he will be among those considered this
year. That doesn't mean it's a done deal. But my own
thinking is that after being honored last December
alongside three past Kennedy Center Honorees at the
National Medal Of The Arts Ceremony, they will have to
at least think about it. I mean he was honored
alongside Barbara Streisand, Benny Carter, and
Barishnikov.
I think it could happen this fall. But I have said
that for 14 years!!!
Only thing I can say is send another short letter to
The Kennedy Center Honors. The address is on the
opening page of the Eddy web site under my name.
