Tony Bennett has been recording and performing music since 1952. In fifty years, his voice is still soft and easily recognized. The musical quality of his songs continue to enhance that voice to this day. Mr. Bennett, unlike almost all other artists, has stuck to the best popular and jazz songs. He is recognized among musicians as a jazz singer's jazz singer.
The early 1950s were the most successful for Tony Bennett. However, one his performances today will draw the same admiring fans as earlier in his illustrious career. "Rags To Riches" sold over 2,000,000 copies, and occupied the top position on the billboard for 8 weeks. "Stranger In Paradise" received a similar position. Yet, Mr. Bennett's "signature" song and, his most well known one is "I Left My Heart In San Francisco."
