This Sea King is in the colours of 202 Squadron, Royal Air Force. John Kirk was based at RAF Coltishall in the search and rescue role. He later flew both Sea Kings and the Wessex as the Search and Rescue Wing Test pilot.

John Kirk
This Captain Kirk wasn't in charge of the starship "Enterprise" but, his missions to the oil rigs in the North Sea were just as adventurous. (grin)

The Ol'Kunnel now has a forum setup to allow us almost the same opportunity for the camaraderie we had on the old network. I trust it will offer you the same fun and companionship that IRBFlying once had on the GT Power Network. If you agree with me, you'll prove it by leaving a few words on the "I'd Rather Be Flying!" forum by clicking on the forum button.
